From Silvia Ellis (Parent):
Ray K and 1st grade teachers:
I took some pictures of the K and 1st graders at the Walk-A-Thon. I created a google album to facilitate sharing with parents. The link to the album is below. Parents should download the pictures they want to keep–I will delete the album in the summer.
It was an amazing day! Thank you Silvia!
May 22nd at 5:30 pm, families will get to experience Ray School’s Pilot Light food education program by preparing a meal together.
Our field trip is this week Thursday. Please remember to pack a lunch and be on time to school that day!
We will finish our “Me on the Map” project this week and then begin our summer journal collage project. We will fit these special projects into our regular routine as much as possible.
If your child is not reading daily and practicing single digit addition and subtraction facts they will likely fall behind their peers who do practice daily.
Read daily and keep track of minutes
Sight word practice: ready, anything, upon, kind, places, also, flower, warm
Math worksheet & memorize single digit facts practice (Mon – thur)
Fix the sentences worksheet (Mon – Thur)
