This week Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the place, and second grade makes it a big deal. Unfortunately we cannot permit an avalanche of candy in our classrooms. We realize many of you have already made purchases for this kind of shared experience. If you have purchased candy please save it for home use. We ask two things for tomorrow:
- No candy
- If you make or purchase Valentines for the class that you make one for each student. A class list will be attached.
Class Dojo is an electronic communication tool used by specialty teachers. Please do not try to communicate with your child’s homeroom teacher through Dojo this year. If you have any questions about Dojo please let us know.
Our next field trip is scheduled for March 17th to the Shedd Aquarium. Space for chaperones is limited. Please let us know if you can attend.
African American Heritage Gallery walk is this Thursday. See the accompanying flyer for more details. We hope to see you there!
