This week we will visit the Shedd on Wednesday. I would like to thank in advance Ms. Aniceto-Diaz and Mr. Brown, Riely’s Mom and Sam’s Dad for chaperoning this trip.
Please be sure your child has a water bottle for their desk so that they need not go to the water fountain very often.
We are low on our paper supply. If you can contribute a ream of copy paper (white or bright colors) we would really appreciate it.
Students are working on their research projects at home this week and next week in addition to their other home assignments. I you have any questions about the research assignment or if you have misplaced the rubric and assignment description please let us know right away. Assignments are due between now and April 1st.

Monday: Read, Math Link,Choose writing prompt and think about it (plan)
Tuesday: Read, Math Link,Choose writing prompt and write a draft
Wednesday: Read, Math Link, Revise your writing
Thursday: Read, Math Link, Edit your writing
Friday: Read, Math Link, Submit your writing to the teacher
Choice 1: A Letter: Pretend you have just gone on a long car trip. Write a letter to a friend about your travels. Tell what you did for fun. Did you sing silly songs? Did you play car games? Don’t forget to format your letter with salutations and punctuation for a friendly letter.
Choice 2: In My Automobile: Pretend you could have any car in the world. What kind would you want? Write about your car. Tell what it looks like and how it is special. Then draw a picture of your car.
