The Native American History Projects are all due before the winter break. Please help your child research a Native American Group and have them ready to present to us before we go out on break. Please contact the teacher right away if you have not received the project description.

Please consider the weather when dressing your child. We will be outdoors on days when the temperature is above 15F.

Please continue to contribute snacks and Warrior store items…these are always needed and greatly appreciated.

In the three weeks we have before the new year we will continue to work hard at our reading fluency, contractions, past tense verbs, contractions, prefixes, story structure, authors purpose and fact versus opinion language arts. In math we will continue our study of addition and subtraction through number stories that include weights and measurement, money and time.

Wednesday: Read, Math Link, Revise your writing
Thursday: Read, Math Link, Edit your writing
Friday: Read, Math Link, Submit your writing to the teacher

Writing Choices:
Choice 1:Write a list of gifts you might give to friends and family.
Choice 2:Persuasive writing: What is the best type of travel in your opinion; by train, car, bus, plane or boat?Write a television ad for a travel company explaining why that type of travel is the best.
