Many important notes this week
December 11th is a special evening for Ray families. Pelase see the red flyer in your folder.

Our attendance in room 112 has been faltering.  Please do what you can to have your child here and ready to begin by 845 daily.

There is a field trip planned for next month that we must pay for now or lose our reserved seats.  Please send the form and fee in ASAP.

Parents, I notice that several students do not submit reading logs or writing assignments each week.  Those tools are one way for me to help encourage the home routine.  I have one student who has jumped several reading fluency levels since the start of the school year.  She was only able to make this achievement with the extra effort in her home time.  If you need suggestions on how to build reading and word study into your daily routine please let me know.  It is my goal to work with you as a team to make this possible for all of the kids in front of me.

Home assignments should include:
Daily reading minimum 15 minutes a day
Word study 10 minutes a day
